We Made a Mistake, And We’re Truly Sorry
We recently discovered a printing error in select layout versions of our 2026-27 Classic Planners. It matters to us to own it clearly and directly, because you trust us with something you use every single day.
Which 2026–27 bloom Layouts are Affected?
This is a limited issue that impacts two planner styles: the 2026–27 8.5” x 11” Classic Planner and the 5” x 8” hard cover Classic Planner. All other 2026–27 planners are unaffected, including the 4” x 6” pocket planners, 5” x 8” soft cover Classic Planners, Vision Planners, daisy planners, and dated teacher planners.
What Happened
On the November monthly views of these versions, the top left days of the week Sunday through Wednesday did not print on the top left bar of the November page. The dates are correct. The layouts are correct. But that small header text box dropped out of the final files, so that one section in this particular version is missing its text.
How This Happened
This was what is called a file-conversion issue. The text was there through all our internal proofing rounds. It was there through the many, many edits that happen before anything goes to print. But right before the final handoff, those labels fell out of the exported file.
These planners go through an almost ridiculous amount of checking before they ever leave our hands. Multiple people review every page. Files are re-exported and rechecked again and again. We’re obsessive because we care so much about getting this right! And still, we missed this. We’re human, and unfortunately, a very rare issue slipped through during the very last stage.
Are These Planners Still Usable
Of course! The boxes and dates are all there, and you can simply write in those four days on that one spread.
We are also offering a free printable of just this small header section. You can print it at 100% on standard printer paper and tape or glue it directly over the blank area to cover it perfectly. If you’d rather not do that, you can simply write “Monday–Thursday” over the headers in pen. Both options work, and we want you to choose what feels easiest for you.
That said, we completely understand that even small errors can be frustrating, and we take this very seriously.
What We’re Doing Moving Forward
We’re already tightening up our proofing process with extra checkpoints and new safeguards specifically around file conversions. These kinds of mistakes may happen in publishing, but that doesn’t mean we shrug and say “oh well.” We learn, we adjust, and we get better.
A Personal Note
If you knew our small team personally, you’d know none of us set out to build a planner “brand.” We wanted to build tools that help people feel more grounded and empowered in their everyday lives. That’s still the heart behind everything we do. So when something slips, even something small, it hits us hard. We never want to disappoint you, even a little. We’re really sorry for the frustration this caused. Thank you for giving us grace, for sticking with a small, women-led team that is always trying to do good work, and for being part of the bloom community.
