This month's featured #bloomgirls are #girlboss cousins, Jamie and Tara! Jamie is a graduate of the University of Delaware (just like most of the bloom team) and Tara graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. We are so inspired by Jamie and Tara's story and we know you will be too! Tell us a little bit about yourselves!

We are savvy entrepreneurs that followed our passion to start a business at the age of 17! Savvy Sisters Media, Inc. is a growing digital strategy firm that specializes in social media marketing. We're here to thrive with your brand. Growing up in the era of technology, we have an immense understanding of the industry, inside and out. As graduates of Communications & Advertising, we are on top of all current trends, market updates, brand ideas, lifestyles and more. 

Savvy Sisters Media, Inc. uses our digital native perspective of social media to get an edge up on the competition. Social media is something that is constantly changing, and we at Savvy Sisters Media, Inc. are constantly changing with it.

We are huge foodies that love the beach, in our free time you can find us listening to music or connecting with nature!

How did Savvy Sisters Media get its start?

After interning in public relations and digital media, we realized that we had the skills and opportunity to do it ourselves. In today's digital age there are no barriers to entry. We bought a domain, printed business cards and went door to door offering our services.

Who or what is your biggest inspiration?

Gabby Bernstein is a spiritual entrepreneur whose work greatly inspired our journey. "You are the dreamer of your own dream. Create visions of the world that you want to see." This is a quote that truly motivates us to create the world that we want to live in! 

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced, personally or professionally? How have you overcome it?

Measuring our personal values based on other opinions is an ongoing struggle we face both personally and professionally. As an entrepreneur, it is easy to identify my self-worth based on my work and deliverables. Realizing that everyone's opinions are their own helps me honor other points of view. I try my best to open my mind to other perspectives and see constructive feedback as opportunities to learn.



If you could talk to yourself 5 years ago, what advice would you give yourself?

Enjoy the moment.

Trust in your journey.

Everything will work out the way it needs to be.

What are your favorite bloom products, and why?

bloom is our favorite! bloom helps us stay organized with the many things we are trying to juggle. We are huge fans of the Planning Pads and we especially love the Grocery Planning Pad! We love being able to look at our schedules in a week and month view - it is a great help planning!
