5 Tips to Bring Positivity Into Your Daily Routine

Waking up every morning and having the same routine can get tiresome and uninspiring. When we find ourselves just simply going through the motions, instead of being actively present in our lives, it is important we take a moment to bring a little positivity and inspiration into our days. We have come up with five tips bring motivation and enthusiasm into your day!

 1.) Make Your Social Media Feed More Positive

One of the first things we do in the morning is to check our social media feeds! If you are one of the millions of people who do this, it is important that these first few minutes of your day are filled with posts that make you feel good and inspired! Here are a few of our favorite accounts that will help motivate you or put a smile on your face.

2.) Listen To A Motivating Podcast

The average adult spends over 200 hours a year commuting to and from work. Most people use this time to listen to the radio or music. To help shake up your routine, find a motivating podcast to listen to a few days a week. Listening to an uplifting podcast can help set your mood and the tone for your whole day! Once you find one your love, try listening to it when you have a big meeting, an exam or just a busy and stressful day ahead of you!

3.) Create a “Feel Good” Playlist

We all have those days where nothing seems to be going smoothly. Sometimes all it takes is a good song to pull you out of a bad mood. Create a playlist with some of your favorite, mood-boosting songs! If you are not big on making your own playlists, the bloom team has created lots of fun and upbeat playlists for you!  When your feeling overwhelmed or frustrated, take a few minutes alone to relax and listen to your feel-good songs. 4.) Create Your “Perfect Daily Routine”

Write down what your perfect morning, afternoon and evening routines look like. Maybe your perfect morning means waking up early and going to a yoga class, or maybe it means waking up 15 minutes early to have time to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with no electronics or distractions. Keep your list somewhere that you will see it every day and try to follow it as closely as possible. Of course, most days won’t be perfect, but it is good to have something to remind us how to make every day a little better!

5.) Compile Your Favorite Positive Quotes

Make it a habit to screenshot or write down quotes that motivate and inspire you. Create a list of these or a Pinterest Board that you can easily access when you are feeling down or uninspired!  Reading these quotes can help change your mindset and allow you to think more clearly and positively.
