Thanksgiving is tomorrow and that means family time, the Macy’s Day Parade, fall festivities, and our personal favorite, FOOD! Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without the over abundance of food and consequent dread of the gym the following week. We realize that not everyone has the same traditions nor does everyone like the same kind of food, so, in order to combat this we have developed the ultimate Thanksgiving meal prep for all kinds of guests with all different food preferences! Check out below to see what category you and your guests fall into and a sneak peak at some tasty treats to satisfy each type of foodie!

Festive Party Drinks

The best way to kickoff the night is with a festive drink that is perfect for autumn. This Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria is always a fan favorite, and is super simple.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 apples
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 ½ cups of apple cider
  • 1 cup of club soda
  • ½ cup disaronno
  • 1 bottle of champagne

The Kids Table   

Nothing appeals more to kids than something fun, festive, and of course chocolaty; give these simple and adorable Reese’s Turkeys a try this year!

What you’ll need:

  • Reese’s peanut butter cups (full size)
  • Reese’s dark peanut butter cups miniatures
  • 48 reese’s pieces
  • 16 candy eyes
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

The Healthy Eater 

For those of you trying to stay healthy around the holidays I commend you, you are much stronger than I am. However, healthy alternatives aren’t all too hard to find and by no means have to be boring. Checkout this Roasted Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash side dish that will capture the hearts of all veggie lovers.

What you’ll need:

* Recipe is also gluten free

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 sweet potato (1 pound), large
  • 1 thyme, fresh
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 pepper
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. salt

The Dessert Junkie

If you’re one of those people who eats Thanksgiving Day dinner while simultaneously thinking about what’s for dessert, then this is the ultimate recipe for you. There’s nothing better than to finish off a meal with some warm, homemade desserts. These Salted Caramel and Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars are a fun twist to the traditional pecan pie.

What you’ll need:

- 1/2 cup soft, unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

- 8 ounces roasted salted pecans, halves or pieces okay; about 2 cups
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup whipping cream or heavy
