Apple Picking

One of my all time favorite fall activities! Apple picking is the perfect way to spend a relaxing day with friends while still getting to be outside and take in the beautiful fall scenery. Plus, you can take those apples and make tons of fall goodies later in the day, anything from apple pies, to caramel apples; all make a fun and delicious treat. Go online to check out some orchards in your area!

Pumpkin Carving

Spend a night in and carve pumpkins to bring some festivity to your doorstep. The best part, there’s no right or wrong way to design your pumpkin! Anything from Halloween witches, emoji smiley faces, to monogram initials will do! Or, if you’re not totally about the cutout design, paint yours instead! I’ve always been a fan of polka dots so this year I’m thinking of painting mine with some scattered metallic gold and white dots….Pumpkin Painting DIY coming soon!

Haunted Houses

For those of you who are much braver than me, haunted houses are a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit. Grab a group of friends and face the spooky ins-and-outs of interactive haunted houses. Plenty of attractions including haunted hayrides and corn mazes are designed to fill your night with the threat of terror.

Festive Food

If you’re a sucker for food that looks as good as it tastes then we’ve got the ultimate fall recipe for you. This version of caramel apple slices definitely puts a twist on the traditionally dunked caramel apple. Not only are the drizzled slices easier to make but also less messy to eat! Essentially the slices are placed on lollipop sticks and then drizzled with chocolate, caramel, or butterscotch and finished with toppings of your choice – anything from crushed peanuts to rainbow sprinkles!

Check out our pinterest board to see the full recipe!!

Our bloom team loves to soak in all the fun that fall brings with it! But what about you #bloomgirl? Share with us some of your favorite autumn activities in the comments below!
